C & G Containers, Inc. is pleased to announce the completion and full operation of its new 83,000 square foot facility in the town of Opelousas, Louisiana, situated just off Interstate I-49.
The new facility houses all three C & G Containers’ operational divisions: Environmental, Pharmaceutical, and General Packaging. Each division is separately positioned under one roof, enhancing the efficiency of each operation. Within the facility, a commitment to “growing green” is evident through decisions to reduce and recycle.
This expansion includes the addition of several new process areas and product lines, alongside extensive analytical testing procedures and instrumentation. The existing staff possesses the knowledge and experience to implement these advancements.
New additions to the facility include:
- Steam Sterilization to complement current processes for Low level < 10ppb TOC and Depyrogenated products
- Silanization
- Controlled Environment Process areas (clean rooms)
- Particulate cleaning
- Water criteria USP/WFI compatible
- Sterile foil wrapped processing
Furthermore, significant investments have been made in state-of-the-art instrumentation, including Gas Chromatography, Mass Spectrometer analyzers, autoclaves, specialty oven chambers, and microbial testing for low-level certification.
The goal of C & G Containers is to provide products for multiple industry segments that satisfy and exceed the most stringent requirements with certified “CONTAMINANT-FREE” products delivered “On Time”.
